Que cosa?

College = audhjschv hjbcsabxj

Classes are interesting but hard (in my opinion), and everything else is sweet. :]
I have to say that my first day here, I was having cold feet asking myself if I chose the right school. That all changed after I attended Welcome Week. I love this school. So AMAZING.

My problem right now is time managing. I know, that is a pretty common advice most people hear of, but seriously, it is so difficult. Debating whether I should hang out with my friends, study, see my adviser, and/or go to a campus event has been a big dilemma for me.

For future college students: When times seem unfair, remember that you will be paying tuition for your education. Classes (studying) comes first.

Two Is Better Than One

Career wise.

Two weeks and two days until classes start. I am planning ahead....
  1. Finish school with 100% work ethic
  2. Go to space
  3. Attend culinary school
  4. Work as a pastry chef
  5. Move to the mountains and raise llamas
Someday? :]

I packed my stuff (again). Destination: campus. woo
*Ignore the messy hair

Explanation

Moving away hit me like a ton of (yellow??) bricks.
The moment my mom drove away, while I stood on the sidewalk, I took awareness of my surroundings.
My permanent home, at least for the school year. weirddddddd.

Maybe for some, going to college is not so drastic. It all depends on the circumstances.
Knowing that I am now responsible for my school tuition and any living needs, I realized that I need to make wise choices.

Life is not easy. The challenges can only make us fonder and aware of what we do have. As I continue my route towards a good education, I will continue to pray to grow my faith with God and take my roots everywhere I go.

This is a reminder to me as the writer, and to those who read this that sometimes we forget what we learned and have. It is hard to stay grounded, but not impossible. Thank goodness.

I want to thank the people that showed me the meaning of friendship. The ones who cheered me up when I was down, spontaneously greeted me with treats, gave me words of wisdom, and led me towards becoming a better Christian. My role models and my childhood friends.

After the move, this "book" has helped me overcome home sickness.

*Side note: My cell phone (LG NV2) expired. :( Goodbye, awesome camera taker phone.

New Start

So sorry. I did not expect to be gone for that long.

I am now in a new state about to start the next chapter of my life. It is so different.

My response to all of this is:

AHHHHHHHHHH

Bueno y malo.

I would like to go into detail, but at the moment I do not have any internet access where I am staying and disappointingly enough, I have to go right now.

More explaining coming soon. :)

4 Days 9 Hours and 20 Minutes

until I leave Kansas :(

What? Did Amy just put a sad face?!?! Yes.

After putting more thought about moving, I realized everything I will miss in Kansas.
  • My friends
  • My mom
  • My sisters
  • The stars
  • The sunsets
  • The sunrise
  • Metropolitan Coffee
  • Brooks on Main St.
  • My high school
  • My cross country team
  • The thunder storms
  • The landscape
  • My "house"
and the list goes on....
such a bittersweet moment.

Next time I post my blog, I will either be on the road to Virginia or in Virginia.

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer!

Until next time. Chau.

No consistency whatsoever!

My post are random, which I really don't mind. I just noticed it. That is all :]

Schedule:

Breakfast: Soy chocolate frozen banana smoothie.
(I was in a hurry to work, sorry no picture).

There are so many spiders at work. Don't get me wrong, I am not afraid of all bugs and what not, but these spiders look identical to the poisonous ones. The one in the picture below made a sneaky move and tried to drop on me. Luckily, it missed. I am not paranoid, right?

Lunch: 1/2 Wheat sandwich with cheese, ham, peppers, and pickles. Toasted. Grapes on the side.

Snack: Yogurt Ice Cream cone.

Dinner: Veggie burger and fries from BK.
I know, I know. NOT healthy, but trust me the burger was tasty so I did no finish it.

Dessert: Homemade strawberry ice cream with brownie.

I DID exercise today, so I do not feel guilty for eating my treats. It was an intense workout!
I DO feel the burn. haha.
Let me elaborate....:
I basically ran in circles through my neighborhood, each round was an equivalence of 1.2 miles.
It was 90+ degree weather. I was only able to run 4 intervals before stopping. I walked another one, and then ran a last lap as a cool down. It was about 7 miles. I am getting there!

It got to the point where the drained water looked so good to drink. I know, what was I thinking?
Au Revoir!
