4 Days 9 Hours and 20 Minutes



until I leave Kansas :(

What? Did Amy just put a sad face?!?! Yes.

After putting more thought about moving, I realized everything I will miss in Kansas.
  • My friends
  • My mom
  • My sisters
  • The stars
  • The sunsets
  • The sunrise
  • Metropolitan Coffee
  • Brooks on Main St.
  • My high school
  • My cross country team
  • The thunder storms
  • The landscape
  • My "house"
and the list goes on....
such a bittersweet moment.

Next time I post my blog, I will either be on the road to Virginia or in Virginia.

No consistency whatsoever!

My post are random, which I really don't mind. I just noticed it. That is all :]

Schedule:

Breakfast: Soy chocolate frozen banana smoothie.
(I was in a hurry to work, sorry no picture).

There are so many spiders at work. Don't get me wrong, I am not afraid of all bugs and what not, but these spiders look identical to the poisonous ones. The one in the picture below made a sneaky move and tried to drop on me. Luckily, it missed. I am not paranoid, right?

Lunch: 1/2 Wheat sandwich with cheese, ham, peppers, and pickles. Toasted. Grapes on the side.


Snack: Yogurt Ice Cream cone.



Dinner: Veggie burger and fries from BK.
I know, I know. NOT healthy, but trust me the burger was tasty so I did no finish it.



Dessert: Homemade strawberry ice cream with brownie.

I DID exercise today, so I do not feel guilty for eating my treats. It was an intense workout!
I DO feel the burn. haha.
Let me elaborate....:
I basically ran in circles through my neighborhood, each round was an equivalence of 1.2 miles.
It was 90+ degree weather. I was only able to run 4 intervals before stopping. I walked another one, and then ran a last lap as a cool down. It was about 7 miles. I am getting there!

It got to the point where the drained water looked so good to drink. I know, what was I thinking?

Motivation

I was reading MANY blogs today and it really inspired me to eat healthy/exercise more often.

Thursday Schedule:

Breakfast: Soy Chocolate Banana Vivanno Smoothie. YUM

Work: Walk doggies

Grocery Shopping. I got double the goodness!
Preparing lunch.
Scrambling tofu before putting it in the pan.

Lunch: Scramble tofu cooked with bacon, spinach, and a slice of bread with almond butter.
DELICIOUS.

A walk through town with a friend. My phone was acting weird.

Dinner: Microwaved bowl of mushrooms, spices, black olives, spinach, and cheese.

Dessert: Peach Greek yogurt with pecans.

Insomnia

It is 1:33 in the morning and I NEED to sleep, but I just can't. *sigh

I thought it was about time to update my blog. :]

What I've been up to lately:
  • Working
  • Running (YAY)
  • Napping (From lack of sleep. I know, bad Amy.)
Changing subjects, I wanted to say:
Wouldn't it be awesome to major in gastronomy? Travel the world and eat amazing food here and there. =D

After reading so many healthy life style food blogs, I got myself motivated to change my eating habits! *Insert a crowd cheering here.*
For Breakfast:
Half a banana & a chocolate chip PB spread on bread.



My excuse: I was on a hurry after work ti eat lunch. Besides, I order two FRESCO tacos.

The reason I do not like working in the rain.


Brrrrrr. (Yes, it is possible to be freezing in the summer!)

The summer of O'ten.

I apologize for my absence. Summer is going by fast/slow. haha

Fast Mode: Spending time with friends/family.
Slow Mode: Working.

A few things I been doing since I last posted:
  • I went to my freshman orientation. It was amazing! My only fear is the freshmen 15.
  • Working 6 out of 7 days a week. Sometimes it feels like school. The same feeling when you have to get out of bed early morning and go to sleep early.
  • Watching the World Cup!
  • Baking desserts
  • Exercising. My stress reliever =]

I was at the wrong place to watch the sunset, but I least I got to see the sky changing colors in a matter of seconds.
